"My daughters mental health"

About: Coatbridge Locality Support Service (Disability) / Community mental health team outreach

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter has contacted on 8 separate occasions in the last year as she was feeling extremely low and felt her medication needed reviewed as it hadn’t been reviewed in over a year, each time she was told someone will get back to her. After numerous calls eventually the on call nurse did get back to her round about July time so she kindly arranged an appointment for a telephone consultation for the beginning of September, only for it to be cancelled the day before and once again we have heard nothing further about a new appointment.

Myself and my daughter feels very let down by this service as the lack of support has been very poor. I feel for others like her who are experiencing the same issues but don’t have the support of their family like my daughter has.

Best regards
