"Compassionate & Professional Dr and Receptionist "

I had to contact my GP as I’d woken with fever, facial swelling and feeling very unwell. I was unsure of whether to attend A&E, so called the surgery.

My call was answered by a very helpful and caring member of staff, who booked me a telephone consultation. My GP recommended A&E ASAP as he’d diagnosed a very serious infection, this diagnosis was confirmed in A&E.

My GP contacted me again to check that I was ok, and that my medication was working as intended.

I appreciate that we’ve encountered extremely difficult times over the past year, and staff have had to prioritise urgent cases due to staffing issues (nationwide)…but I’m extremely grateful to the staff involved from Lea Surgery. Thank you so much
