(as a service user),

I cannot thank my worker enough at gateshead recovery she takes me seriously, not only that, I am at a major turning point in my life after losing my partner of 28 yrs to lung cancer. I am once again heavily addicted. Gateshead recovery are not just putting me into detox, but rehab for six month which is what I need. Without the support of my drugs worker none of this would of been possible so thankyou Gateshead recovery for saving my life.

Thank you MOUSE73 for your feedback and very positive comments about your experience of Gateshead Recovery Partnership.

We come to work every day to help people with addiction and lifestyle issues and while we don’t do the job for praise it’s nice when it happens because we then have a sense of feeling valued in what we do.

Keep on keeping on, you are worth your recovery, stay strong.
