My daughter snapped both her Radius and Ulna. She was seen immediately at A&E at the Royal Hospital for children, Glasgow by Dr Fitzpatrick. There was no waiting as she was clearly in distress. The care and attention she received was absolutely fantastic. Dr Fitzpatrick was excellent and arranged x-rays / Orthopaedic opinion very quickly.
All staff involved in her care were brilliant. In particular, we would like to thank Dr Campbell who was very attentive and kind in what was an extremely distressing situation for my daughter and our family. His professionalism, manner and skill in aligning my Daughter's arm under gas and air was amazing. We will forever by grateful to him for this.
Following this, we have been back twice to the children's fracture clinic and x-ray department at The Royal Hospital for children in Glasgow.
My Daughter was examined by Dr Osman. Later on my Daughter was examined by a different Doctor (called Mohamed). Both were very kind, helpful, informative and reassuring.
I appreciate these are very difficult times for NHS staff and the care we received was first class.
Please pass on our thanks to all staff involved in my daughter's care.
