"Baby delivered early due to preclampsia"

About: Musgrove Park Hospital / Neonatal care

(as a parent/guardian),

Was on willow ward for 10/11 days with high blood pressure, but felt absolutely fine in myself! Nurses were incredible and made me feel like I wasn’t a nuisance! (Which is how I felt, being that I felt well!) On Thursday I actually started to feel unwell and it was decided that I needed to have a C-section in September and that the baby would definitely need to go to SNICU. Everything with regards to the C-section and SNICU was explained fully to me and I felt extremely confident in the process. Everything from then on has been amazing and all the staff have been incredible!

Thank you so much letting us know about your experience on Willow and SNICU. It is really good to hear that understood everything that was happening to you and your little one, as that certainly helps to make a difficult journey easier.

I am sure you were never a nuisance, and hope that you are both continuing to do well!
