"Urgent Treatment Unit"

About: Penrith Hospital

After a fall into a rabbit hole whilst out walking, which left me unable to walk, I visited the emergency department. All the staff were lovely - very kind & compassionate. After an assessment & x-ray it showed my ankle wan't broken, but severly sprained. The treatment I received was excellent - I can't thank the unit enough. Thanks very much. No offence, but I hope I don't see you again!

I am so sorry that you fell whilst out walking, it must have been very painful if it left you unable to walk but thank you for taking the time to write to us with such a positive review of your care at the Urgent Treatment Centre in Penrith.

I am pleased that you found the staff to be kind and compassionate and that you described the treatment as excellent.

I will pass your comments to the manager and the matron for the area as I am sure they will be delighted to share your feedback with the wider team.

I hope you are recovering well.

Best wishes for the future.

Regards,

Alison S-D
