"Amazing care after wrist surgery"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Fracture Clinic Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I was admitted for wrist surgery 2 weeks ago under the care of Mr Johnstone. The care I received during my day case admission was outstanding in each area. I was a boarder in Ward 214, Nurses Hannah, Madi, Natasha S and Lucy, were all so genuine, caring, attentive and cheerful, they are  a huge asset to their team and department.

All Theatre 12 Nursing staff and Anaesthetists  were brilliant too. Mr Johnstone took the time to explain everything clearly and was very easy to speak to regarding my operation and his secretary Julie was so helpful throughout the admission process.

It was lovely to be so well looked after during my short hospital stay. Thank you to everyone involved in my care.

Dear Aprilnx96,

Thank you so much for taking the time to say thanks to the staff who have cared for you throughout your wrist surgery journey. I hope you are recovering well.

I have shared your kind words with everyone mentioned from Nurses Hannah, Madi, Natasha S and Lucy in Plastics ward 214 to the theatre 12 staff, and am confident it will have brought a smile to their faces at a very busy time.

Thanks again getting in touch it really does mean a lot.

Take care,

Alison
