About: Maternity care / Maternity Ward

(as a service user),

My time in Daisy Hill Hospital's Maternity Ward has been really really good. The care I have received has been second to none. I came in and had an emergency c-section and I was so very well informed. Every question I have had has been answered. All the staff really do go above and beyond.

The only point for improvement I would suggest is the visiting restrictions. I really feel that the dad's deserve to have more time with their baby.

Dear waltznz98 - thank you so much for telling us about your experience in the Maternity Ward. it is great to read that you had such a positive experience and that you were given enough information about what was happening. Unfortunately we are constrained with the COVID regulations in relation to guidance for visiting, we do appreciate that this is very difficult for parents..
