"Amazing care"

I attended the ED department with my baby boy who was breathing rapidly. It was the last day of our holiday in Yorkshire and it was very frightening having a poorly baby and going to an unfamiliar hospital so far from home. However all the staff we encountered were amazing, so friendly, caring and empathetic. I didn’t even get chance to sit down before my baby boy was seen. He was cared for impeccably and everything was explained to me. All staff referred to him by his name and I felt like they genuinely cared about us and we weren’t just another statistic. My son was admitted to the children’s ward where we again received excellent care. There aren’t enough words to describe how grateful I am to the staff for caring for my sons health and for treating us with such compassion.
