I took the weekend off to travel down to the borders and help my daughter to move into Halls in Galashiels. I became very unwell in the early hours of Monday morning and had to wake my friend who called an Ambulance.
I arrived in A&E very unwell, breathless and hypotensive.
Don't remember very much except waking up in intensive care, I had had a horrendous time. I had septicemia.
But I cannot express enough thanks to all the staff involved in my care from the outset. The calm reassurance, given to both myself and my daughter and friend was humbling. As a retired staff Nurse I am in awe of what you guys do with things being what they are just now.
Eternally grateful
