"Colposcopy at United Lincolnshire Hospitals"

About: Pilgrim Hospital / Gynaecology

(as a service user),

I was referred to Mr Mohanty following my routine cervical screening. The nurse was concerned I might have a polyp. I was worried but the appointment came through really quickly. The ore appointment information booklet was useful and reassuring. On the day Janet, Emma and Mr Mohanty could not have taken better care of me. I had never had a gynae appointment before and was pretty scared but they made it so much easier by their reassuring manner, their kindness and their professionalism. I was told I was in control and I really felt I was. Everything was set up to protect and respect my dignity and at all times I feel well cared for.

Dear Annie EBF,

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your feedback for us following your recent visit to the gynaecology outpatients department at Pilgrim Hospital. As a team we all try and deliver the very best service we can offer and make everyone feel valued, we understand having a colposcopy is an anxious time for most ladies, but was so pleased to hear the team were caring and professional, enabling you to feel more reassured during the procedure. I will ensure I pass on your kind words to the team and in particular those you have taken the time to personally mention. May I wish you well.

Take care

Tracy
