"Disappointed and upset "

About: City Hospital (Birmingham)

Been in labour since Tuesday 14th got admitted on Wednesday 15th being 13 days overdue couldn't do it I was passing out being tired since Tuesday no sleep and just couldn't do it was telling them to give me c-cection because I was low on energy and knew I couldn't do it anymore they then said if I don't give birth till 7am Thursday they would do c cection but didn't until they rushed every equipment in at 9am to force baby out the canal with forceps which left me with three stitches and has ripened me apart and in pain for 6 weeks baby wasn't doing good when they forced me out I was screaming they told me to stop screaming I am not happy with the experience and do not recommend the hospital the staff there at the labour ward are very rude and don't care about any body's feelings I am disappointed

I am sorry to hear about your experience at City Hospital. New mothers in our care should be well looked after and given the support and advice they need throughout their stay with us. Please could you contact Head of Midwifery Louise Wilde (louise.wilde@nhs.net) so she is able to address your concerns. I hope all remains well with both you and your child. With apologies, Richard Beeken, Chief Executive.
