I would like to say a HUGE thank you to the wonderful team in the labour ward at BGH. Throughout my pregnancy and giving birth, every single member of staff was so lovely, patient and kind to both me and my husband. I felt so safe and well looked after during my contractions and water birth, and was well looked after right up until we left the hospital. 

Our hairy wee baby is an absolute angel and both my partner and I haven't felt overwhelmed about anything so far as we were given such great advice and information from the midwives.

I am delighted to hear you have felt asfe, well informed and cared for throughout your pregnancy and birth.

Having a new baby can be overwhealming and it is lovely to know that the staff have provided you with the advice you have needed to allow you to enjoy your baby!

I hope you are settling into life as a new family and so glad to hear that your 'wee hairy baby' is an angel - long may it last!
