I had to take my Mum in for an emergency blood test, the Doctor was adamant I get her straight to the hospital asap as he needed the test results back that day, after having had to suffer a negative response by the Doctor receptionist when trying to obtain the form I needed for the blood tests, such as "you wont get results back today", "you wont get a blood test without an appointment" ( I had actually already clarified these questions with the Doctor) , by the time I got to the hospital I had feelings of uncertainty, doubt, frustration and to be honest, panic. All taken away by the Phlebotomists who dealt with myself and Mum. They understood how stressed I was, allowed me to speak, and answered my questions and took my worries and anxiety away. I cant thank them enough, not only that, not a mark on my Mums arm from the blood test and Mum got her results back that day too.
