A terribly run mental health clinic! I have Bpd and had to self refer after moving boroughs this year because my diagnosis from Enfield wasn’t believed or taken seriously. I self referred twice and was refused help and sent to CGL rehab. CGL told them I was not an addict and sent me back to cygnet house, I felt cygnet house and the team there didn’t want me back at all and the after care proved that to me. I saw 2 untrained mental health workers who it seemed was just there to take my life history and get my past evidence from previous doctors etc. This was collected and 3 weeks later I was given at told I would receive no help from a psychologist or anyone else in cygnet house and I was being sent back to CGL even though I have no addictions. This is a terrible service that lets down the amazing work the rest of the nhs has done over the years to help me to live a normal life. I’m not a bad person, I was an abused child that deserves help to live a healthy life as an adult. I’ve been told I am a danger to myself and others and have a diagnosis but ware sadly are choosing to ignore that. What a shame this place is so bad and the staff don’t care, it needs a serious review ASAP.
