About: Altnagelvin Area Hospital / Maternity care Cardiology / Cardiology Assessment Hub

Throughout the past few weeks I have attended both the Cardiology Assessment Hub and the Early Pregnancy Unit in Altnagelvin Hospital. In both units I was very impressed by the high level of expertise and care provided. What stood out from both experiences was the compassion of the nurses and doctors. They took the time to listen to my concerns, answer any questions I had and explain the plan for my care. Thank you for all your care and attention.

In short I am part of a team of experienced Cardiology nurses that assess patients referred with Cardiac conditions and in conjunction with a cardiologist provide assessments/ investigations and arrange treatments as needed.
