"Gave me someone else's appointment "

About: University Hospital Of Hartlepool

Had an appointment come through for physiotherapy and attended as requested, when I arrived she mentioned I had a problem with my shoulder when I have ulnar nerve neuropathy..she checked the referral which had come from my Orthopaedic specialist, and had to repeatedly tell her I didn't have an injury to my shoulder, at that time I'd not even had a nerve conduction test done! She then said that it looked as if I'd been referred for someone else's appointment but did I still want treatment?! Obviously I declined since I don't have an injured shoulder. She said she would call Orthopaedics to chase up and call me back, which never happened. This could of been a lot worse if I had been confused or had a disability and had the incorrect treatment. I feel bad for the person who never got their appointment and who is now probably on the waiting list again.
