My son has Autism, learning disabilities and he is 17. We were hoping for him to be vaccinated at home as he would not cope at school or at a vaccination centre . Due to his needs, he needs so much transition time for anything, but we found it hard for this to happen, especially as he’s classed as vulnerable & an adult. As his parents, we have lived at home for the past 18months to protect him & keep him safe. We couldn’t understand how it was going to happen ..
Then we got a call from Craig one morning last week to say he was going to get this sorted. After I explained everything about my son to him, to our relief, he called back in the afternoon to say they could vaccinate him at home that night. I can’t believe how quick he worked to get this sorted and all in a day. We got pictures of the nurses so my son knew who was coming to the house. Jackie & Naomi were absolutely fantastic to do this. They were amazing at explaining everything to us and keeping him calm. He was so relaxed with them. I really can’t thank them enough for doing such an amazing job. We are very grateful for everything that they done & especially making him feel so relaxed ......Thank you to everyone for making this happen & doing an absolute fantastic job.
