About: Caradoc Surgery

Had a phone consultation followed by blood tests . The Result of one element of the test was borderline. Due to ongoing and worsening symptoms I requested a follow up chat/ consultation via the practice website and gave full details of why I was concerned enough to speak to the doctor again, I named the doctor who had been helpful and understanding. . A message came back very quickly to tell me to phone for a routine appointment, which gave me the impression that a member of the admin team scanned my message and fobbed me off very quickly . Instead of forwarding my message to the doctor I had identified, and had previously spoken with ,who requested the tests, they basically didn’t bother . There is no continuity of care . I have just phoned the surgery after the morning rush only to sit and listen to the phone ring endlessly up to the point where the call was terminated at their end . All my contact details are available to the surgery and it would have saved time and effort on both sides if a routine appointment was made and notified to me. What’s the point in the Ask a Doctor section on the website if you are just told to call an already over used phone line . I thought this surgery had improved but on this occasion it falls short of good care and attention to patient needs .

Hi, I'm sorry that you have felt the need to complain. I would like to discuss this with you but I don't not have your full contact details. Please can you make contact with the surgery and provide your full details and I can call or meet with you.

Many Thanks
