My daughter was diagnosed with Anorexia Nervosa in March. Following a number of medical scares and very little restoration her consultant organised for intensive home support to be on board. My daughter has recently been discharged from the Camhs intensive home support team Lanarkshire. They have been involved in her treatment plan since April and their role was to provide daily support at home to prevent hospital admission. With their hard work and dedication, we were able to keep my daughter at home. The team members were Sandra, Evan, Simone, Peter and James. All these individuals are amazing and hard working who brought hope, laughter and positivity during the toughest days. Her named nurse was Evan who worked hard to help keep her at home and to support her recovery. He was amazing with her and was able to get her through some really distressing periods. As a family we cannot say thank you enough to this team they really have saved her life and we have our daughter back.
