"Attitude of surgeons and consults"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Outpatients

(as the patient),

I was asked to come into hospital due to ongoing issues (which have been missed by the hospital previously). I came in and had a chat with a surgeon who acted very miserable and uncaring. This is not the only time this has happened and it’s always left me upset and worried to seek further help. I struggle enough as it is to ask for help so the added pressure of being made to feel that my problems aren’t   worth anything only makes me want to seek help less even when there is a serious problem. Other than that the nurses are all lovely and caring it’s just the unnecessary attitude from surgeons and consults that lets the whole service down.
