I went to my GP on a Friday Morning and by the Monday morning I received a phone call from the lead consultant to talk about my health. I was amazed at how quickly I was contacted and then how quickly I had my CT scan. I was contacted the day after my scan with my results which was wonderful. From other experiences I have waited 3 months  for tests results which made me feel very worried and anxious but that was not the case with ECDC. This is a wonderful service, the staff were very helpful, polite and professional. I  feel that this service will save a lot of lives.

Thank you for taking the time share your story on care opinion we always welcome and value feedback regarding our service and use it to shape the service and care we deliver.

I am delighted to hear that the ECDC team were prompt, professional and friendly in their approach. Coming into the hospital to have tests can cause anxiety for some people and I am pleased the team took the time required to reduce your anxiety.

I will ensure your very kind and positive comments are shared with the team and I am sure they will be delighted to hear such wonderful feedback.
