About: North Devon District Hospital / Urology

(as the patient),

I have received wonderful treatment from both North Devon District Hospital Urology Dept and the Ilfracombe Medical Centre.

Mr Ong and his team have been FANTASTIC! They are so polite, courteous and will take  time to explain everything. They make  you feel very comfortable, despite the pressure that they are no doubt under. The same applies to Cath the lovely cancer nurse.

As a point of interest, I have NEVER had to wait more than a few minutes for any appointment, which is pretty remarkable.

Dr Bevan and the nurses at the Health Centre have also been fantastic - patient (no pun intended) kind and helpful always.

I would say that  nobody, no matter how important or famous, could possibly pay for service as good as we receive free on the NHS

I have worked in the NHS for over 35 years as a senior Medical Secretary in various specialties. I currently work in the Urology Department providing PA services to the clinical team.
