"Taking care of our Mother"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Care of the Elderly (Wards 9-12)

(as a relative),

Hi. My mother  was admitted into Wishaw General Hospital ward 11. I would like to thank all the staff there as my mum was taken care of with dignity and respect. She has Dementia and it’s a difficult time for us. I can’t thank the staff enough for there care and support not only for my mother but for myself and my brother. They worked constantly to make my mother comfortable they were very pleasant and helpful. The ward was also very homely and spotless. Thank you 🙏 for everything you did and you all are a credit to the NHS. God bless you all in ward 11.

Dear Vespamod

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your gratitude towards the staff who cared for your mother at University Hospital Wishaw, during her recent admission to Ward 11.

I was pleased to read that your mother was treated with dignity and respect and that the staff also ensured that your family felt supported during her admission. It can be a very stressful time for relatives when a loved one is being cared for in hospital, and our staff recognise that and are trained to provide care and support to both the patient and their families.

It will be my pleasure to share your lovely with the staff in Ward 11. Thank you so much again.

I hope your mother is now keeping better.

Kind regards.

Lesley
