(as a staff member posting for a carer/relative),

May I firstly pass on my sincerest appreciation of the short but memorable time spent with my Godmother recently.   She really wanted to pass away in a hospice and you afforded her that wish.   Despite her illness, you were able to see her character and determination, being of strong mind to the end.   Thanks for your staff's benevolence shown towards my Godmother and myself.

May I firstly pass on my deepest condolences for the passing of your Godmother.

It is lovely to hear that we were able to fulfil your Godmothers wishes to spend her last days at the hospice.
