About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Elective Overnight Stay Centre/Gynaecology Ward Daisy Hill Hospital / Emergency Department Northern Ireland Ambulance Service / Emergency ambulance response

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I came to Daisy Hill via Ambulance. The staff were very good and I had no problems. The wait wasn't long at all which was good.

However, I had a terrible time in the Emergency Department. I had a very long wait and during this time nobody came to speak to me to explain what was going on which I was unimpressed with.

After being diagnosed with an infection, I was moved to the female surgical ward.  The female surgical ward has been really nice. The staff are all lovely - both very kind and caring.  I have had no problems up here and cannot think of anything that could make things any better.
