"The care and treatment of my mum"

About: Downe Hospital / Ward 2

(as a relative),

Mum was admitted to Ward 2 at the Downe Hospital a couple of weeks ago for a period of 10 days. During mums recovery period on ward 2, mum lost a lot of her independence and required the assistance of the support staff. Mum shared with me how embarrassed she was that the young girls had to provide personal care. However, mum did say how loyal they where to their patients, how much compassion they showed, the craic they had and their upfront honesty. Mum spoke very highly of the support workers when I was visiting on a daily basis and still praises the girls today. On behalf of my mother, I would like to share my sincere gratitude for your love, care and dedication and know your part in mums recovery is precious. Much respect and gratitude.
