"Nurses both caring and attentive"

About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Elective Overnight Stay Centre/Gynaecology Ward Daisy Hill Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a service user),

Following a burst ulcer, I was transported to Daisy Hill Hospital's Emergency Department via ambulance. There wasn't a long wait and the ambulance staff were all 100% - very good and very caring.

I was then in the Emergency Department for 5 hours. The staff were all brilliant and I was taken in straight away.

Following this, I was moved up to the female surgical ward. The ward has been excellent.  The staff have also been brilliant, especially all the nurses, they are all very caring and attentive.

There could be no improvements that would make my stay any better. The care and service has been very good and all staff members have been doing their absolute best.
