I have tried and tried to use the digital app / my GP website to order repeat prescriptions but it inevitably ends up in me having to call the surgery. In one recent case I think I waited nearly a month having used the service, it not working, being redirected back to digital for the GP to call when I wasn’t able to answer the phone. It really can’t be that complicated can it? Now the surgery has bolted on Patients know best when I go to use the NHS APP - but there is no information even on there! So I ring the surgery and they ask if I have tried online - where can you tell people the IT isn’t working? I don’t have faith that anything will be done. I am a digitally capable person but this is painful! I love the NHS but why is the “digital transformation” taking so long?
