"Childbirth"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Maternity unit

(as a service user),

I recently gave birth in Forth Valley Royal Hospital, after a an extremely difficult labour I was eventually admitted after 3 days of early labour. Unknown to me my waters had broken days before. My baby was back to back so my labour was extremely painful & due to the baby having reduced movements I had to do a chunk of my labour without pain relief. I was looked after by Lucia, Rebecca & Mary on the labour ward and they couldn’t have been nicer. They all went above and beyond to look after my baby and I & I cannot thank them enough.

Dear July2021

Congratulations on the birth of your little baby.

It certainly sounds like you had a long, hard time but I am sure it was worth it all now that you have your wee bundle of joy in your arms!

It is great to hear that Lucia, Rebecca and Mary were there to help and support you. I will make sure they see your posting, I am sure it will make their day.

With best wishes for all the exciting, fun-filled times that lie ahead.

Kindest regards

Gail
