"Pregnancy bleed"

About: Maternity care (Wards 47, 48 & 50) / Maternity Assesment/Triage Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Maternity care (Wards 47, 48 & 50)

(as a service user),

I attended the QEUH ED with bleeding at 17 weeks pregnant. I was hysterical and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and kind. Staff Nurse Vicky and Student Nurse Gemma showed me so much compassion and I cannot thank them enough. They saw my pain and anxiety and did everything in their power to make me at ease and get me the right care as quickly as possible. I cannot thank them enough.

When I got through to maternity assessment my care was amazing too. I can’t remember the names of the staff but they went over and above to reassure me and get the tests I needed. An excellent service.
