"Thanks to all on ward 408"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham

I recently spent 3 nights on ward 408 after coming to the hospital for surgery on my broken humerus and injured nerve. The injury has been extremely painful and difficult for me to handle. When I arrived I was very nervous having never had surgery before. The staff were all great and gave me tons of reassurance and support! I was lucky enough to have an amazing nurse look after me directly after surgery and again on my last day, such a lovely person who felt to me like an old friend I had known for years.

I am very grateful to everyone on the ward who cared for me, I wish there was some way I could repay them all. Thank you.

Dear Writer

Thank you for taking the time to share your opinion of the care you received.

I am sorry to hear of your injury and the pain it caused you, I hope things are easing following your surgery.

It was lovely to hear how supportive and reassuring the staff on Ward 408 were and that you built a great rapport up with one of the nurses.

I will pass your compliments on to the staff from Ward 408 and also ask the Patient Experience Team to log your compliment.

Kindest regards

Naomi Hill

Patient Experience Manager,
