I recently spent 3 nights on ward 408 after coming to the hospital for surgery on my broken humerus and injured nerve. The injury has been extremely painful and difficult for me to handle. When I arrived I was very nervous having never had surgery before. The staff were all great and gave me tons of reassurance and support! I was lucky enough to have an amazing nurse look after me directly after surgery and again on my last day, such a lovely person who felt to me like an old friend I had known for years.
I am very grateful to everyone on the ward who cared for me, I wish there was some way I could repay them all. Thank you.
"Thanks to all on ward 408"
