"They never pick up the phone"

I am overdue for a couple of tests, which are very important, I tried ringing them and they have a voicemail to answer which doesn't transfer you to the receptionist. It just says the line is busy and I should keep trying. Tests, scans and appointments are very important for human life. To stay healthy we need a GP Surgery that cares. I will give them couple of weeks, otherwise I will transfer to another practice because no one seems to care.

I am very sorry to hear of the difficulties you have had in getting through to us. The phone system is extremely busy, and we are looking at ways to improve the capacity. We have recently introduced a queuing facility on the phone system, but when the queue is at maximum you may be asked to call back. We do understand how frustrating this is.
