My husband was persuaded to see a GP to have blood tests after six months of nagging from me. Upshot was he was admitted to Acute Assessment where ERCP was performed. He was then in need of intravenous food, drains, oxygen and was moved to ICU. As this was all in April and May visiting was restricted, rightly so. His treatment until his death in May was considerate, kind and professional. The day before he died I had a TIA. ICU staff organised and whisked me to Emergency Scan and a ward for assessment and treatment. My daughter was well cared for as she sat with her dad; I was well cared for. We cannot thank the Drs, nurses, technicians enough for the care and compassion we received. Thank you all so much.
