On the 25th of May 2021, my partner was admitted to Accident and Emergency at the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy by ambulance. He suffered a severe Oesophageal Rupture and without the quick action of the female doctor on call that morning in diagnosing his condition, we are doubtful that he would have made it.
After an extended stay in hospital at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary we would very much like to know who this doctor was so we can thank her in our own way. There was also a male nurse on that morning, who gave him exemplary care and kindness to me as I sat with him - this nurse also accompanied him to the ERI by ambulance (I think he may have been called Martin?) who we would also like to find to say thank you. Very much hoping you can help us please
Kind regards
"The quick action of the doctor on call"
