About: North Manchester General Hospital / Accident and emergency North Manchester General Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as a service user),

Presented at A& E at NMGH 11. 00 am Monday with large internal bleed. Admitted approx 23. 00hrs, fasting with view to scope on Tuesday, never happened! ! Fasted and put on drip again Tuesday night in prep for scope on Wednesday, never happened- cut to the chase: - I’m not on a gastro ward, despite a lot of requests and promises I have NOT seen anyone from the ‘gastro team’ to discuss/treat my issue since being admitted; - over120hours now! ! ! ! All I’ve had is bloods taken and visits from the respiratory Drs on the ward I have been put on. Abysmal! ! ! ! !
