"Not very good service"

About: Heartlands Hospital

When I got there at 22.20pm I went to reception to book my daughter in then sat down.

One hour later I went to reception to ask why I haven't been seen by nurse yet, and the other receptionist said that the other receptionist didn't book my daughter in, so that was not very good.

Then I sat down on these very hard chairs for 4 hours before I was taken to a cubicle for another couple of hours so I was there about 6 hours wasn't offered any drinks until a nurse came in the cubicle and done us some squash and gave us biscuits.

I know it's very tough in A&E and the important ones are seen first i understand that but we never seen any body for hours and wasn't updated by anyone until the nurse came in our cubicle and told us and that wasn't until i got to cubicle was there for a hour until the nurse came in to do her blood pressure.

I think the waiting time should be reduced, something needs to be done as that experience was not very good at all was unbelievable, my daughter was really bad but luckily her pain never got any worse otherwise it would of been a different story.

Hope my comments make a difference.
