"Grateful for their kindness and dedication"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Emergency Department Craigavon Area Hospital / Urology

(as a service user),

I have been in hospital for over a week. I came in via the a&e department and was waiting for a long time before I was seen to. This is just a system failure so shouldn't be seen as a personal complaint.

The staff along the way have been very kind and helpful. The staff in the urology department listen to you and answer your questions to the best of their ability. If they do not have an answer there and then they always come back to you. They are extremely reliable and dedicated to their patients.

The ward is very clean and the toilet and showering facilities are equally as hygienic. My bed is comfortable and the sheets are fresh.

The food is nothing special but it is edible and serves a purpose.
I have no complaints overall and am grateful to the staff for their kindness and dedication.

Thank you for posting regarding your recent hospital experience.

I will pass your positive feedback to the Domestic and Laundry Services teams.

I am sorry to see you have not enjoyed the meals provided during your stay, if you would like to contact my office, I would be delighted to discuss how we can improve.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Andrew

Unfortunately there has been significant delays in ED the department has been under increased pressure, we have had significant amounts of patients delayed in ED waiting on admission beds, this contributes to overcrowding and slows the flow in and out of the department. We hope you are recovering well.
