"The Midwives at BGH and community Midwives"

About: Borders Community Services / Community Maternity service Borders General Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I was very anxious going into Labour all 3 times, (the first time in 2018 and my last 2 weeks ago) the community midwives at Duns/Eyemouth who assisted me throughout my pregnancies were all incredible and reassured me throughout. I’ve had all of my 3 children at the Borders General Hospital and can not praise the midwives there enough. Margaret was there for my 3 births and each time she delivered the best of care and made me feel so at ease and safe, she was amazing. Joyce was also great throughout my second Labour, nothing was ever too much for her and was so very helpful towards me and my partner, we’ve never forgotten her kindness. Kizzy the student midwife that helped me through my 3rd Labour was unreal and will make the most wonderful midwife, she knew exactly what to say and made me feel so calm. Thank you to every one of them for helping bring our babies into the world!

Dear polar1234

Thank you for taken the time to provide us with such lovley feedback.

I will ensure the midwives and Kizzy are informed of your kind words and I am pleased you had a positive experience with your three pregnancies/labours as we aim to provide person centred care.
