"Urgent appointment at Crosshouse hospital"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Endoscopy

(as the patient),

I have been having severe stomach pain and bleeding when peeing and pooing. The doctors at my local surgery keep putting me on different tablets non of which work. I have been on an urgent waiting list for over a year to see a consultant at Crosshouse hospital for an endoscopy and colonoscopy. I phoned several months ago to see why my appointment still not come through. They said I was not down as urgent. After several phone calls between hospital and doctors surgery. I was then told that I was on an urgent list and always had been but it could be another year before I see anyone. I was told by my doctor that he had asked Crosshouse hospital to put my on a list for cancellation. When I phoned   Crosshouse   they said I wasn’t down for a cancellation. After kicking up a fuss they say I am now down for a cancellation. . I have all the symptoms of bowel cancer or a bleeding ulcer. I am in severe pain every day and no one wants to help. The NHS. has a   duty of care and in my case it is not being met.
