"Excellent patient care"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / General Surgery

(as the patient),

Admitted to ward 208 and under the care of Staff Nurse Stephanie mid July 2021. Through a very anxious time and not fully understanding what was happening to me I felt very reassured by all that Stephanie did for me and she explained everything and kept me calm throughout. Felt very safe entering a period of unknown having come into hospital with severe intestinal pain.

Could not commend Stephanie enough as even when I was moved from the room she was working, she has continued to check up on my progress.

Great example of a true nurse who cares.

Dear HappyPatient21

Thank you so much for taking the time to post your kind feedback on Care Opinion.

Staff Nurse Stephanie was delighted to read your positive account during your admission on ward 208. Stephanie explained everything which helped you feel calm & reassured. And this care was continued even after you were moved to another room, Stephanie followed up to ensure you were feeling ok.

I hope you have recovered since getting home.

Thank you again for your lovely feedback.

Warmest wishes

Gillian Stephen
