"Amazing experience"

My baby girl was delivered via c section in July 2021 and I was absolutely staggered by the kindness, efficiency and care that I experienced from everyone I came across during my time in hospital, from the midwives to maternity nurses to cleaners to sonographers to consultants to kitchen staff. The whole process was seamless and I felt completely safe, informed and well supported. I struggled to breastfeed my baby at first and I got a huge amount of support from many midwives, infant feeding specialists and maternity nurses during the 5 days I spent at the hospital. As a result I left the hospital feeling confident feeding her and she has subsequently gained weight steadily. Thank you so much PAH for giving me such a positive birth experience despite it not being what I had envisaged.
