I’ve given a lot of positive feedback the last 18 months. But mistakes are being made in my sons prescribing now, the nurse notes not being updated to reflect new Asthma Powder Pump, so wrong script sent to Boots. Night meds not being prescribed for the month after being agreed with my Dr, if my Dr goes on leave and others sign the scripts, mistakes are made like my sons Complan being cancelled when he needs it daily, even Boots have told you my son has a monthly script. All these mistakes mean as elderly disabled parents, we are having to run around to and fro to Boots, on crutches, having to go out when she want to be at home safe in these Covid times as my husband shielded all last year and some of this. The pharmacist at the surgery needs to look in to all this, because my son is housebound and we’re all he has, and I do not have the energy to keep running around to Boots because you’re making mistakes in prescribing. The e consult is too difficult to leave a simple message for a named person, it needs updating so anyone can leave a message for a Dr, you have no patient email. The Drs are good, ours is a gem and can’t fault him, most nurses good, receptionists are very abrupt at times, and the length of time you have to wait to get through on the phone is appalling. I didn’t get my promised call back from a Dr on Friday, it adds up to frustration and I’d prefer to leave a more positive review, but prescribing issues need to be addressed as it’s not fair on elderly ill themselves parents, to have to run after you regarding your mistakes, our time our energy is precious at 85 and 69! Not enough prescribing checks made by your pharmacist. A Dr cancelled my sons monthly Complan script by mistake, he now has none left even Boots have chased it up, they have to order it which can take two days, so I need urgent script for a months supply of Banana Complan on Monday sent to Boots chemist.
