"A really positive experience"

About: Balfour Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

Attended ED following referral by NHS24, as had fallen while gardening yesterday and hurt both ankles.

Got seen by lovely member of nursing staff, then reviewed by a doctor, then sent to radiology and back to ED. It was a really good visit - staff were patient, explained who they were and what they were doing. Covid precautions were in place and worked really well both in ED and radiology. It was a really positive experience, despite both ankles having a bad sprain and a potential hairline fracture.

Dear Kajcloud

Firstly please accept my apologies for the delay in responding to your post on Care Opinion. We have changed our NHS email addresses and regrettably this caused a communication delay.

However, I am delighted to hear that you have had such a positive experience of our healthcare services here at The Balfour. Staff in the ED and Radiology will be so pleased to know that they made your time in our hospital as comfortable as it could be. All our staff aim to do their best for our patients and it is especially heartwarming when they are given such lovely feedback,

I do hope you have made a good recovery from your injuries and wish you well getting back to full health.
