My husband attended A&E with breathing difficulties. He was seen after a short wait by a triage doctor and sister who promptly sent him for a chest X-ray. The A&E staff were amazing. They quickly got on with providing excellent care and diagnostics. Very reassuring when feeling unwell. Once stabilised he was sent onto gate 12 for assessment and further investigations. The staff were brilliant. Very caring and showed sensitivity and professionalism regarding patients needs. He was treated with the upmost respect and each procedure was explained to him which he found reassuring. The food was wholesome and tasty and food was available for late admissions to the ward. Nothing was too much trouble for each member of staff. At this time with staff working so hard due to COVID pressures, we have been really impressed by the quality of care shown to patients. We are so grateful for Pinderfields hospital and all the fantastic staff.
"Brilliant care"
