Previously fit and well and now I have long COVID, I had a call with the doctor who sent me for a chest X-ray and blood tests and said to book an appointment to see the doctor after my blood tests to complete a heart trace. Tried to get through to book to see the doctor but couldn’t after trying for 3 days, so whilst I was having blood tests at the surgery I went to the receptionist to book the face to face with the doctor and was told the doctor has to book this themselves. Didn’t hear anything for over a month so call again which took over an hour to get through after they hung up on me twice. Finally book a 121 for a couple of days time. The day before my appointment I was sent a message to say the doctor wouldn’t see me and the doctor will call and don’t attend the surgery. Called the surgery to be told I have to have another call as it’s been over 3 months since the original call? as far as I know you can’t do a heart trace by phone! They have no idea what they are doing and this is why everyone is going to A&E because you just can’t see a doctor, I know as I’ve been trying for 3 months, I can’t understand why they won’t see me when they were the ones that asked me to come in for a face to face in the first place. They also informed me that nothing will change from the July 19th either, they still won’t see patients. So what do I do?
