"Wonderful treatment"

About: Stoke Mandeville Hospital

I went into hospital on Thursday with what turned out to be appendicitis. The staff were all kind, gentle, efficient and effective. They explained things carefully, they did all the right checks multiple times, they were kind, they did their best to keep me and other patients cheerful and they came very quickly when one of us needed help. From the moment the paramedics collected me at home to the moment I left the hospital I felt I was in safe, capable and very caring hands. I hope to never require emergency surgery again in my life, but if I do, I will feel safe going back to Stoke Mandeville.
