"Acute Oncology Service and Out of Hours"

The response was extremely quick and very efficiently dealt with. Treatment was provided immediately. I have used them twice.

First was because my chemo drug affected my jaw and Seamoor unit dealt with that direct. Pippa was extremely helpful and very quick to sort it speaking to my Haematology team for a decision.

Second was again chemo drug caused sickness and diarrhoea so called out of hours and was immediately directed to A&E, then they reacted as quickly as they could under pressure for doctors and I went to MAU for 6 days with low sodium levels. They were absolutely brilliant and a wonderful team of nurses, doctors and the ladies who fed us and kept us so clean.

The whole unit is wonderful and I have nothing but praise for them. Having Acute Oncology gives me a sense of security.
