A few weeks ago my wife was admitted to Afton ward after being sectioned. I am very pleased to say that she has recently left the ward to go back to her normal care environment. When she came into Afton ward she was in a very distressed and unmanageable state. Her improvement was totally due to the care, professionalism and love of all the staff on Afton ward. They are a real credit to the hospital and made what was a difficult period much easier to deal with. Please convey the heartfelt thanks of myself and my wife to all involved on Afton ward.
